Teach

Teach at Euler Circle

Euler Circle depends on mentors who work directly with students. Our mentors take teaching seriously, communicate clearly, and care about helping advanced students grow.

TA Positions

Most mentorship roles at Euler Circle at TA roles. TAs help run problem sessions, work with students during class, hold office hours outside of class, and provide feedback on problem sets and paper drafts. We are looking for people who

  • have strong mathematical background,
  • explain ideas clearly,
  • are reliable and responsible,
  • care about maintaining standards that make Euler Circle work.

Typically, TAs are college students or graduate students majoring in mathematics, although this is not a strict requirement.

If that sounds like you, fill out an application.

Teach Other Subjects

We are always looking for people to teach other subjects for us at our umbrella program, Kaleidoscope Circles. See our hiring page for open positions, or let me know what you want to teach even if we aren’t actively seeking new instructors by sending me an email.

Other Roles

We may have other roles available from time to time, including ones we haven’t thought to create yet. This may involve designing and teaching new classes, or doing operational work, or doing something else that we don’t know that we need.

If you believe you could add value in a meaningful way, feel free to email Simon. I can’t promise anything, but I’m open to proposals from people who understand our goals and want to strengthen the program.
